I’m Skyler Clark-Hamel, a Ph.D. candidate in Strategy, Ethics & Entrepreneurship at the University of Virginia Darden School of Business.

I study firm–stakeholder relationships. A central stream of my research examines how firms compete for relationships with employees, suppliers, communities, and other stakeholders—and how those competitive pressures reshape the relationships firms are trying to build.

My broader research examines how firms navigate differences in stakeholder values, how stakeholder relationships evolve over time, and how managers make strategic and moral decisions in complex stakeholder environments.
